Teen & Tween Spaces
Teen Room
The Cedar Falls Public Library Teen Room is a space of comfort, empowerment, and entertainment for teens aged 12-18. The area includes a comfy booth to hang out in, a roaming board game table, video game consoles, YA graphic novels, computers, the new YA materials, and more! Anyone is welcome to come in and look for a book or other library material, but this space as an area to hang out in is for teens only.
Tween Zone
Nestled in a corner between Youth Biographies and Youth Nonfiction lies the Tween Zone or Corner. There are comfy chairs, a round table for collaborative projects or playing games, and a storage bench, which contains fidgets, puzzles, games, cards, and coloring pages. This area is reserved for tweens (ages 9-12) between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
